Ontem foi revelado as indicações ao MTV Video Music Awards 2017, onde Lil Wayne recebeu uma na categoria "Best Hip-Hop".
A indicação que Wayne recebeu, foi com o clipe "I'm The One" de DJ Khaled feat Justin Bieber, Quavo, Chance The Rapper e o próprio Wayne.
O MTV VMA 2017 acontecerá no The Forum em Inglewood, Califórnia, no domingo, 27 de agosto.
